No, Indian citizens cannot apply for a visa upon arrival in Israel; you must apply for a valid visa before travelling to the country.
Indian citizens must have the following documents when applying for an Israel visa:
Official documents: This includes your passport (all passports, old and new), Aadhar Card and PAN Card. Provide copies of all pages of the new and old passport. Please ensure that your current passport is valid for at least 6 months.
Photo: You will be required to submit a passport-sized photograph.
Proof of return: Submit your returning or onward flight ticket.
Proof of stay: You must have proof of accommodation, such as hotel reservations.
Proof of funds & employment: The Israeli government checks if you have funds to sustain your travel and stay in the country. To substantiate this, they would ask for important documents such as bank statements (last 6 months), ITR (last 3 years), and last 4 months' salary slips (if employed) or equivalent. [Stamped and signed hardcopy of bank statements are required to be submitted to the consulate.]
No Objection Certificate: Stamped and signed hard copy of a no objection letter from your employer (if employed) or on your company letterhead (if self-employed).
Sponsor’s documents: If your trip is sponsored, you will generally need to submit salary slips, bank statements and the sponsor's IT Returns.
Highest Qualification Certificate: This could be a diploma, degree certificate, or any other official certificate from an educational institution.
Travel Itinerary: Provide a detailed day-to-day plan of your trip.
Travel Insurance: Proof of valid travel insurance covering the duration of your stay in Israel.
Note: You will also be required to submit documents confirming special circumstances in your visa application. For example, if invited, you will be asked to provide an invitation letter and a marriage certificate if your spouse’s name is not updated on the passport.
